We at Murphy’s Produce with Purpose come from a background of produce distribution in San Diego County. Our founder, Jimmy Murphy, grew up delivering produce with his dad throughout Southern California. Since then, a group of childhood friends have joined and shared Jimmy’s mission in helping the community. Our team grew up in the area with a shared vision and commitment to give back to the community that they love. All team members entered into different career directions, but continue to work with individuals and organizations.

The collaboration and relationship building with other nonprofits and churches that feed and provide resources has helped the most vulnerable population such as the homeless, foster youth, and elderly.
